RECOGNITION OF A FOREIGN COURT JUDGMENT

The recognition of a foreign court judgment in Greece requires the filing of an application before the competent greek court, which is the Single-Member Court of First Instance within whose district the applicant has their domicile or residence.

 

Requirements for the Recognition of a Foreign Judgment in Greece

GOLDEN VISA – INVESTMENT IN A LISTED BUILIDING

Following the legislative amendments introduced by Article 64 par. 1 of Law 5100/2024, the provision of Article 100 par. 2 case d of Law 5038/2023 provides for the possibility of obtaining a permanent investor residence permit (Golden Visa) with a minimum investment amount of €250,000, through the purchase of a property consisting of a listed (heritage-protected) building or part of a listed building, that is to be restored or reconstructed, or a property within which a listed building is located.

GOLDEN VISA – INVESTMENT THROUGH THE ESTABLISHMENT AND OPERATION OF A BUSINESS IN GREECE BY A LEGAL ENTITY

Pursuant to article 97 par. 1 of Law 5038/2023, a residence permit for investment activity (Golden Visa) may be granted to third-country nationals who intend to establish and operate a business based in Greece for the purpose of making an investment of at least five hundred thousand (500,000) euros, which will have a positive impact on national development and the economy.
