The Greek Citizenship Code (Law 3838/2010), as amended by Law 4332/2015, grants the right to a child of foreign nationals who was born in Greece, has been enrolled in the first grade of primary school, and continues to attend a Greek school, to acquire Greek citizenship upon submission of a relevant declaration–application by both parents.

I. Conditions to be fulfilled

Providing work remotely, using information technologies, gave people the possibility to choose a place of residence other than the place of work. This new reality has led the greek legislator to introduce a residence permit for so-called digital nomads, who choose Greece as their place of residence.
