Law 5275/2026 reformed the framework governing the employment invitation procedure of foreign workers for the provision of dependent employment in Greece.

Following the legislative amendments introduced by Article 64 par. 1 of Law 5100/2024, the provision of Article 100 par. 2 case d of Law 5038/2023 provides for the possibility of obtaining a permanent investor residence permit (Golden Visa) with a minimum investment amount of €250,000, through the purchase of a property consisting of a listed (heritage-protected) building or part of a listed building, that is to be restored or reconstructed, or a property within which a listed building is located.
